Gunmen have shot dead two persons in the Ubeta-Owube axis of Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.

According to Major Elleh, an indigene of the Ubarama community, the driver of the vehicle and the owner of the building materials were on their way to Owube. “His father’s house was brought down during the flood, and he bought some building materials for the house. And he was gunned down with the driver by these hoodlums along Ubata.”

“I believe the new DPO is an active man with a track record. And I have the belief that he’s going to do his work very well,” he said.
