A chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Isokan local government area in Osun State, Kazeem Alli, has been killed by some yet-to-be-identified assailants.
Alli, also said to be a leader of the All Progressives Congress in his local government, was reportedly shot dead by the assailants in Apomu on Saturday evening. The assailants were said to have trailed Alli, who was said to be traveling in his car to Oka Alfa area where he was shot dead by gunmen travelling in two vehicles.
Osun police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, could not be reached for confirmation of the incident.
