The Ondo State Government has vowed to resist any antics of Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, in in the conduct of the October 10 governorship election in the state. The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, in a press statement, said Wike’s imperious attitude and recourse to spurious allegations just because of an election was amusing.
Ojogo said the people of Ondo State would resist any attempt by Wike to play the role of a godfather in Ondo State.Ondo 2020: ‘Ondo people will resist Wike’s attempt to play godfather’ According to him, “in all aspects, Governor Wike deserves respect not just as governor but as a critical stakeholder in the democratic journey. He has his inalienable rights as a citizen to express his mind and make comments about whatever he feels strongly about.“However, what amuses us is his imperious attitude and recourse to spurious allegations just because of an election.
“The man ought to know that utterances of public office holders must be measured and their delivery ought to be in line with the mood of the people.
Wike didn't do anything non have hands in your lost. The people only decided that their vote must count. Edo no be Lagos.
Gov Wike is now a nightmare to Apc everywhere .
Ondo no be Edo or Rivers.
Just wondering why some people will always seek an unprecedented popularity.
Ondo needs change just like Abia state.
Fear of Wike by APC aspirants!
It doesn't matter who or who is not involved.. When the people are tired they'll go to the polling booth to express themselves
I don't think Wike will easily be silenced by Aketi.
People of ondo state are ready to throw you out of state house you only rest on thugs they will fail you but God never fails RotimiAkeredolu
