Group implores Tinubu to appoint minister of Humanitarian Ministry

The wind of advocacy for a qualified political appointee to oversee the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has spread to Lagos with dozens of People With Disabilities advocating for the appointment of Dr. Halimat Tejuosho , as the minister for the ministry.

The PWDs recommendation came exactly four months after the president suspended the former minister, BettaEdu, for allegedly engaging in misappropriation. Another member of the group, Adeyemi Adeseye, disclosed that the testimonies from his friends outside Lagos revealed the passion Tejuoso has for the people, especially the indigent Nigerians.
