A group, Empowerment for Unemployed Youth Initiative has endorsed the aspiration of Senator Danjuma Goje to be the president of the 9th Senate, which will be inaugurated next month.
After a meeting in Abuja yesterday, the group’s president, Comrade Solomon Adodo, said that his members’ support for Goje was borne out of his genuine desire to add impetus to the incoming National Assembly leadership to effectively drive legislative processes and accelerate national development, combating unemployment and its induced crimes.
He further said that the achievements of Goje when he was governor of Gombe State were there for all to see, adding that they were pointers to what he can do when vested with leadership responsibility. “As a governor of Gombe State for two terms, he ensured due diligence, commitment, and dedication to duty which brought the state out of the woods to its modern status.
