A vehicle has caught fire on the Kara-Berger axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, causing gridlock on the road.The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained and it is unclear if there were any casualties.
However, relevant traffic and emergency agencies were on ground to put out the fire and control the traffic. The Berger-Kara end of the expressway has been notorious for traffic since the construction and division on some portions of the road commenced earlier this month.

If one consider daily unpalatable, disruption of traffic along Lagos-Ibadan on daily basis, I think is not a waste to join commercial flights, less than 20 minutes operating between two cities at a cost of 20k OverlandAirways
