The suspected kidnapper, Edet Effiong Nyong was reported to have been among the suspects declared wanted by the state government.
DAILY POST gathered that the team who set the building ablaze was led by the State Security Adviser, South, Mr Ani Esin alongside DSS, Anti-Cultism and Kidnapping Squad and other stakeholders. The building which is located at Esiere Ebom Street in Calabar South local government area of the state was burnt on Saturday.
It was learned that the suspect was responsible for the kidnap of the father of the former Director of DSS and he was also the brain behind the kidnap of a relative of the former Deputy Governor of Cross River, Barr. Efiok Cobham.
