An education expert and principal, Ray-field International schools, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Mr John Bassey has called on governments at all levels to borrow

ideas from the operators of private schools to restructure the public school system in order to save it from a near collapse.

Bassey who called for more budgetary provisions on education urged educational authorities to ensure that the curriculum of the private school is in tandem with the public school. “In our school, we introduced so many things in our curriculum; we broke down Mathematics into Algebra, Arithmetic and Geometry also in English language we broke it down into, Essay, Oral and Grammar so that students can interface with different teachers in different disciplines of same subject and have a full grasp of the subjects.
