Activities marking the one year anniversary of the administration of Governor Francis Nwifuru have commenced with the inspection of completed and ongoing projects across the state. The governor led members of the State Executive Council, lawmakers, the elders' council, founding fathers and other critical stakeholders on the inspection tour.
'Since our manifesto is anchored on continuity and consolidation, it has become obligatory that we complete the runway to the standard that everybody will be proud of. We made a promise to our people that we would punish our enemies with gigantic projects and we believe God will be with us to fulfil that promise,' he said. While inspecting the housing estate at Ishielu, the governor expressed satisfaction with the quality of work but decried the low pace of work on the site.
