Recall that not fewer than five people including a Professor were killed in the gas explosion which occurred in a business premises located along Kachia Road, Sabon Tasha, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Sources say the Professor had taken his grandson to a barber’s shop close to where a retail gas outlet is located when the incident happened. El-Rufai, in a statement signed by the Kaduna state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, urged the families to take heart, while sympathising with those that sustained injuries in the explosion as well.
