The Gombe State Government, under the directive of Governor Muhammadu Yahaya , has announced the extension of its crackdown on local nightclubs and illegal joints to all Local Government Areas in the state. This decision follows recent demolitions of buildings in the metropolis associated with immoral activities. Governor Yahaya made this known during a meeting with the state task force and Local Government Chairmen on Friday.
