Women have been urged not to neglect their health but go for regular medical check-ups to live a meaningful life no matter how busy they are. A Consultant Family Physician at the University College Hospital , Ibadan, Dr. Olufunmilayo Badru; a registered nurse, Mrs. Mariam Johnson; the convener of a non-governmental organisation , The Complete Woman, Tunrayo Falade and a host of healthcare professionals, gave the advice, at the weekend, during a free medical outreach organised by the NGO, in collaboration with the Women’s Fellowship, Chapel of Resurrection, UCH, with the theme: “Living a Healthy Life in Challenging Times.

The registered nurse and coordinator of medicals for the project said it was imperative to encourage women and sensitise them on the need for cervical screening.
