A former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party.
Daniel, in his letter to the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, dated March 14, 2019, also announced his resignation from partisan politics.Daniel was the Director-General of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organization before the former Vice President emerged as the presidential candidate of the PDP in the election conducted a few weeks ago.
“This is to inform you of my intention to resign from active and partisan politics with effect from today, the 14th day of March, 2019. My decision in this regard is entirely personal to me and having served in various capacities, including as Governor of Ogun State, I have resolved to immerse myself in some other vocations and take on some new challenges,” he said in the letter.
Better for him. Back to medical practice.
He must have received heavenly call. Time to repent of political atrocities. Gracious and merciful God!!! Please where is he starting off his ministry.?
He should be arrested , and hand over to officialefcc for proper investigation on how he spend Atiku campaign money . HE think he is wise
It’s his strategy of staying out of the tsunami of probes underway! Let’s wait and see how far this smart move will go.
Preparation for APC baptism of sainthood
Good for him
I wish more will be retired for real either voluntarily or by mandatory. Let's gradually work on a clean slate.
Obviously,switching camp soon..
If he did it for APCthen he is not smart. I see Buhari handing over to PDP after his second tenure so smart PDP members should be positioning themselves instead or defecting
Everyone is dumping Atiku! They don’t even wait for him to appeal 😂
APC ticking
Which kind quits, market no dey well again joo, bsba OBJ said more than that I beg
I said it before the elections that 2019 elections isn't about the reelection of PMB but that the elections would send lots of political to mandatory &life retirement.
With the ongoing Do or Die politics in this country, this is a very safe and sensible decision to take for a responsible person that's not ready to dine with the devil, before desperate killers will waste him or his love one over no fault of his, party related trivial issues.
Wise and clever man 👨!
If you had any honour, you would have waited for Atiku to exhaust his judicial option. However, I know you will recant and join APC.
He get better offer... Next president on my mind...
Added next to nothing in Nigeria or Ogun state...........No one would be miss u
'O, TO, GE' Agba nta ra. Oga Atiku rubbished you by disrespectfully removing you for his more trustworthy, efficient 'team mate in the PDP original Atiku-Saraki scheme'. Atikulooter and Saraki can never be comfortable with an uninitiated, decent old school politician.
Mad man that increase OOU fee bcos he is leaving office... Chaii na God go punish u with bitterness u left in ogun state
Tomorrow he will join APC
I will start counting those to follow Atiku to court.
Baba came to cash out, chop atiku money and run away 😂😂
Quits pdp
Good for him
It's fine. After harvesting millions of naira from APC by directing supporters to vote dapo?
APC beckons. Exact script Nnamani, the former Senate President used
Make dem dey leave political stage one by one.
I can’t imagine how he felt when Atiku relegated him on the campaign trail
Something I would do as well. There's so much to do and live for. Travel around the world, embarking on different projects, there's so so much to do.
Of course he has to. What do you expect after his disappoiting performance in APCO and Ogun state PDP. How else would you define a mole?
Just because that chronic looter u supported called Atiku lost, 😀😀😀😀😀🙄🙄🙄. Funny.
At least you make your last minute money before you quit 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The way Obasanjo quits politics.
What value did you add to Nigeria politics, with the enormous resources that was at your disposal as governor and other political offices?
Baba grin into politics and smile out of politics
Atikulated,Tinubu, saraki and others should just follow suit.
You will quit after embezzling all Ogun state money Awan ole gbogbo.
He knows the nemeses will catch up with him soon because all dirty work done in darkness will be revealed. He must surely reap what he has sown.
OBJ even tore his membership form and said it is over for partisan politics until he saw Atiku fruit tantalizingly hanging and decided to go for it the rest is history.
Better for him... Politics is not do or die affair!
Wow
Na today? He will be back!🙄
Gbenga Daniel was nothing but a fifth columnist and fair weather politician.
Thank God oh.
Voluntary retirement, This is the most honourable path. OGD I hail you sir.
All the best Sir
Expectedly so.
Garbage in Garbage out
.. after all hard work in life.. man must get to a point in life of saying “O TO GR”.. we hope all our fallen senators and governors will learn from this act and do the needful..
Chai.... Atiku dollars for other vocations? ... Issorite.. Saraki gone, gbenga Daniel gone, atiku about to go..
Good for him.
Baba shey na step aside or quit pata pata
Well done sir, I salute your decision jare. As market no pure again, Bubu don frustrate the market jare. He better make I respect my age and pack well!

Better for him... Politics is do or die affair!
I love that.
Good for him... And why is his mouth like that?
This evil murderer, you will weep before u go 6feet
We’ve said it that Sai Baba will retire many Polithievescians this year and it’s happening already. SaiBuhari
Thats life, if Atiku had won nko? Though, i saw this coming, Atiku neglected him and started rolling with saraki etc...
