Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has constituted an investigative panel to look into the findings of a visitation panel to one of the state-owned universities.

Daily Trust reports that a Visitation Panel to Kano State University of Science and Technology , Wudil, had made several recommendations in its draft White Paper Report, which had since been adopted by the government.The recommendations had included for the state to investigate the financial standing of the university amidst following reports of unremitted pensions of staff to the tune of N352million.
