The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has, from January to September 2023, recorded a substantial reduction in the total number of road traffic crashes (RTCs),

) has, from January to September 2023, recorded a substantial reduction in the total number of road traffic crashes , injuries and fatalities as well.

Also, from January to September 2023, the corps achieved 21.3 per cent reduction in the number of people rescued with injuries – 22,580 in 2023 against 28,698 injured victims – from January to September in 2022.According to the crash data report, in the first nine months of this year, the FRSC said it recorded 3,730 fatalities as against 4,848 in the same period in 2022, representing 23.1 per cent reduction.

Corps Marshal Dauda Ali Biu said the FRSC would leverage this opportunity to inform the public that the present administration of the corps has resolved not to rest on its oars in ensuring steady reduction in crashes, injuries and fatalities on Nigerian roads.
