The Federal Road Safety Corps says four persons were killed in an accident on Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Monday.

According to the FRSC, the accident involved a luxury bus and a truck, noting that the auto crash was believed to have been caused by over-speeding. Florence Okpe, the public education officer for the FRSC in Ogun, said the truck did not stop after the bus rammed into it while travelling through a bend around “Kara’’ axis on the expressway.Advertisement

She added that the injured victims were taken to Famobis hospital while the bodies of those who died wereafter a bus and a pickup van collided into a fallen truck along Foursquare camp on the same expressway.
