Confirming the accident involving a Toyota Hiace bus belonging to Kano Line Transport Company, the Sector Commander, Yusuf Abdullahi, informed that 21 passengers were affected by the accident.
“The crash occurred on Sunday, 7th November, 2021 at about 11: 30am at Kwanan Digiza, along Jama’are-Azare highway. He informed that operatives of the Corps at the Azare office rushed to the scene of the crash upon being notified for rescue operation, adding that they evacuated the victims to the Jama’are General Hospital.
Abdullahi said despite constant appeals to motorists, some of them still engaged in over speeding on the roads, which he lamented had led to the loss of lives and properties across the state.
