The Minister of Aviation, Mr Hadi Sirika, has said that no foreign airline operator will henceforth be allowed to treat Nigerian travellers with disdain.

Sirika made the declaration on Saturday in Abuja in a statement signed by Mr James Odaudu, the Director of Public Affairs in the ministry.

“Following the threat by the nation’s aviation regulators to ban its operations in Nigeria, Turkish Airlines last night flew into Abuja with a bigger aircraft A330 as against the usual smaller B737. According to him, Turkish airlines has been notorious for the shabby treatment of Nigerian travellers over time.

How do you expect them to treat us when we get wise treatment from the government?

Charity begins at home

But naija govt can. Proper local content 😎

So happy that Turkish Airline is the first to receive the blow. Worst Airline when it comes to Nigerians .

That's if you have your own carrier... He who plays the Piper determines the tune

As you lay your bed so shall you sleep on it... They have watched the way you heartless politicians treat us here in Nigeria, and they are repeating same heartless culture to Nigerians. 😎

Dis is wat u shld be doing

They only emulate the country’s leaders. You guys can’t be treating Nigerians with disdain and expect others not to.

But Even Nigerians treat themselves with disdain.... Charity begins at home Oga.

, who sent you to report this? Thought this govt isn't doing anything good.

Never! The one we get from our govt. Is morethan enough

Finally.

But indigenous dictators, tyrants, rogues and truants have full rights to do so.

Well we are a nation of lawlessness, when we take it to international scene, what we see is what we get. When u adhere to the rules of law, nobody will insult u.

That will be great if done

Audio talk.

Yes boss

Although Turkish airlines attitude to Nigerians is not the best, however Nigerians are notorious for flouting the rules. We need a root and branch reorientation. If you fly the Lagos-Istanbul route you'd be lucky to find space for hand luggage. Our people simply overload d cabin

At least something cheering

Good development but not just talk about it. Work with Nass and pass aviation bill of rights.

what about the govt of Nigeria treating it citizenry with disdain. They learnt the act from Nigeria govt over the years.
