Focus on insecurity, drop hijab bill, CAN tells N’Assembly - Punch Newspapers

The President of CAN said, “This bill is a small thing; let us make it a comprehensive thing that any right-thinking person will read and will say ‘this is moving the Nigeria nation forward.’ Please, Honourable, I am appealing to you and your colleagues to help us find a way to put an end to insecurity in this country.

“The body language does not suggest that we want to put an end to it. We are hearing from the corridors of power that the money voted for security is being diverted. If you see the investment we are losing because of insecurity…Even religious tourism is very difficult now because of insecurity.” He added, “We need to create employment opportunities. Unemployment is fuelling insecurity because the terrorist and bandits are able to recruit with easy, unengaged hands. They give them little money, they are satisfied. But the government is not doing that.”All rights reserved. Lol them tell u say dem no kwn wetin dem dey do , make God continue to guide us ooo na the state wey we dey now b dat o

N'Assembly and others take drugs,they don't smoke weed,so they can't focus

Hijab is Mary's head cover if you are following the teaching of BIBLE. Then if you are following the teaching of church you are not following the BIBILE. You are following western tradition and culture.

Why you Cristian so greedy about Hijab than working around with pants and bra.

It makes more sense to debate issues relating to the economy and security except if our legislators are another branch of Taliban

Have they ever listened to CAN?

Hatred will kill bigots. Islam will succeed whether or not CAN and Punch like it or NY.

cannigeria you should push for a new constitution because the assault of the hijaab stems from the fact that Nigeria constitution is an Islamic constitution which you're deeply aware of

......is a distraction. while the cash keep coming.....they can't fool us. We are up to their evil agender.

How can they be focus on insecurity? Insecurity is the most lucrative business, cum modern day oil well in nigeria. It is thriving up there, and the Sahel overlords are cashing out steadily.... don't expect insecurity business to go aground anything soon. The hijab bill.....

Speak 🗣

They major in minor. Always busy doing nothing.

God will honor you and your househood You have spoken the real truth but the assembly people will not speak 🗣 out the truth like as if they are blind. Awon werey .... Follow OfficialKhoded

DrAhmadLawan SpeakerGbaja MBuhari Mohammed_Lai useless people!

Focus on employment, power and infrastructure. Rwanda, Ghana has gone ahead of your country. Gooshh

They will have their way because the mumus from the south among them only care about money.

Religion is a personal thing and has nothing to do with governance let alone forcing it on peep. No religion is superior to others. Of all d problems naija is facing, hijab is wat nass is concerned about. So sad

Baba Salla Lawnmowers. 🇳🇬 😀

Their hijab bill is a form of islamization; you can't force the injunction of a particular religion on all the system, nothing is bad about hijab but it can't be forced on our system.

Simply because these are wisdom to rule the land led them to unreasonable things to put in place.God w heal our land.

CAN should wake up and realize that they are fighting a war that is by default designed to ensure that they loose. This country is not fair, and they must do whatever to favor their interest, the earlier they realize that, the better for everyone

Very true
