Although the killings could not be confirmed independently by our correspondent, shops and offices along the UI-Ojoo road were hurriedly shut and commuters trekked from Ojoo towards University of Ibadan area and beyond. Tension started brewing in the area in the morning when some youths mounted roadblock right in front of the police station at Ojoo and started mocking the police.The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, did not answer the repeated calls placed to his telephone by our correspondent.However, when contacted the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Taiwo Adisa, said the governor had yet to impose curfew on the state.
