The incident occurred at Awoyaya KM 17 area of Ife garage in Ondo town in the early hours of Sunday.
With five dead bodies recovered from the auto crash, two passengers were said to be in critical condition following the injuries sustained in the accident. According to the men of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, who were on ground at the scene, the accident involved a Sharon Volkswagen with registration number, KTU 706BW while the truck is said to be on the run.Meanwhile, the deceased bodies have been deposited at the General Hospital, Ondo while the injured are currently receiving treatment at the Ondo Trauma Centre.
