Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has pledged to sustain the payment of N10,000 monthly allowance to corps members deployed to the state.

He also promised to introduce a payment of N20,000, at the end of each service year, to the corps members that served as teachers.

He told the corps members that the orientation exercise was a golden opportunity, hence the need to make full use of it.He advised them to accept their postings in good faith, saying that Adamawa is one of the peaceful states in the country with peace-loving and accommodating citizens. In his remarks, Mr Mohammed Ahmad, the NYSC Adamawa Coordinator, charged the corps members to take all the camp activities seriously for a successful service year.
