Fidelity Bank has distributed over 1,200 food packs to Internally Displaced Persons in Makurdi, Benue State, in its bid to eliminate hunger among vulnerable persons in the society.
At the event, the Divisional Head, Brand and Communications, Fidelity Bank Plc, Meksley Nwagboh, said: “The vision of the bank is to reach out to less-privileged communities through our partner organisations that identify with these communities.” Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation Strategies, Special Duties, Development, Policy and Planning, Fidelis Unongo, commended the bank for the donation and appealed to IDPs to exercise patience, as the governor is aware of their requests and is working to ensure that they get settled back to their ancestral homes.
