FG worries over 70% of revenue spend on recurrent expenditure

The Federal Government has expressed worry over high recurrent expenditure, saying 70 per cent of the monthly revenue inflow into the Consolidated Revenue Fund is being spent on it.

The FG should work on the prevailing wage bill by slashing the wages and allowances of members of the National Assembly. 95% of this 70% goes to politicians that add no value to the development and growth of the Nigerian economy. Enough of the outcry as though the FG is powerless
