The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Wednesday said if the Federal Government must remove fuel subsidy in the country, it has to ensure that all

The union decried that the citizenry is passing through a lot of hardship especially now.

He disclosed that the planned strike action by the union has been suspended because the Federal Government has decided to postpone its February 1, 2022, removal of fuel subsidy. “It is not that the government doesn’t want to do it, but some people are benefitting from the non-functioning of the refineries.”

“Government should see the hardship ordinary Nigerians are passing through; everything is so difficult bow.

Repairing a 40yr old analog refinery at this computer age is like finding food for the boys. Instead Govt should establish brand new computerised refinery ( one at a time)close to crude oil producing area like River or Delta state instead of waisting money outdated technology

For how long will we clamour for the government to make our refineries functional? This present administration of the OfficialAPCNg strongly promised the citizens of putting the refineries in working conditions but have failed in making good their promises; not only in this.

I stand with NLC fully. Nigerian govt is an irresponsible one.
