The Federal Government has eased some of the protocols introduced to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

In the implementation guideline by the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 dated April 2, 2022, and made available to journalists on Wednesday, the committee lifted the nationwide curfew earlier imposed from 12 midnight to 4am. On the use of face masks, the PSC said it was still mandatory for indoor activities, but at individual’s discretion during outdoor activities.

“Both international and domestic travellers must abide by all existing protocols, including the use of face masks, while on board and taking personal precautionary measures. All arriving international passengers must register with the Nigeria International Travel Portal and abide by the travel guidelines,” the PSC stated.
