The federal government has launched a portal to enhance the ease of doing business in the mining sector.

In a statement on Tuesday, Dele Alake, minister of solid minerals development, said the portal, Nigeria Mineral Resources Decision Support System , will offer essential information about Nigeria’s mineral resources, mining sector policies, and global investment incentives.

“To enhance the ease of doing business in the mining sector, today, we launched the Nigeria Mineral Resources Decision Support System ,” the minister said. “During the launch, I highlighted how this portal will provide crucial information on Nigeria’s mineral resources, mining sector policies, and investment incentives globally.“You can access the NMDSS portal at: https:/miningdecision.minesandsteel.gov.ng/nmrdss/.”

According to Alake, NMDSS is a crucial tool for improving efficiency in the solid minerals industry, providing cost-saving benefits for potential foreign investors and granting easy access to vital information with a single click.
