Very good policy...it was introduced by the erudite Prof Babs Fafunwa in 1976 or there about...my primary school was used as a pilot to the scheme...it helps in understanding subjects better

Children that r not native to d language area would they b out of school until they learn. No job advert ever requires applicant that can speak only dialect. Learn work language ie English, Mandarin French asap d world is a village don't b handicap by ur ethnic bias. No 1 cares

Are we talking of all the languages in Nigeria?

Good policy, it's a good initiative. Most Asia countries use their mother tongue to teach. They will understand the topics better while equally learning English language separately.

No more 'fanacular'!

What a government! What kind of retrogressive policy is this bikonu? Why is this govt hell bent on deatroying Nigeria? Why take us to your below par standard of education? Who did us this for Christ sake? Besides when did pry school educatiom become the problem of the centre?

The level of compliance in private primary schools will be zero

Nigeria has no mother tongue, dis guys ve gone mad again

Renewed failure... They want to destroy Nigeria kpatakpata

This is a regressive policy. Another setback
