Mr Adamu said the funds were provided to the schools through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).

The Federal Government says it has released N6 billion to enhance teaching, periodic curriculum review and development in six colleges of education across the country.

The Minister said that technical and vocational education was pivotal to the development of human capacity necessary for the nation’s advancement, hence the intervention of the Federal Government in technical education. “Nigeria’s vision of becoming one of the 20 largest economies by 2030 is hinged on mass production of citizens with requisite vocational, technical skills and competencies.
