The face-off between the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and the federal government over the deplorable state of federal roads in the state appears far

from being over as he has declared that the federal government lacks the capacity to manage itself and fix its pitiable highways.

Obaseki, who addressed journalists in Benin City, the state capital yesterday, said his administration remains committed to advancing development in all communities and improving the livelihoods and welfare of the people of the state.
