The FCT Police Command has reacted to the reported attack on Nigerians who gathered to protest the assault on women in Abuja.
The women were picked up during a raid by the agents of the Federal Capital Territory Administration Joint Task Team, which is comprised of the Department of Development Control, Abuja Environmental Protection Board and the Social Development Secretariat . “At the venue of the protest, they were vehemently prevented from carrying out their lawful duty as the protesters disapproved police photographers to Video their activities”, he explained.
“It is rather unfortunate that a photographer doing his work as seen is being portrayed in bad light and aimed to discredit the police.
