A make-up artist, Mrs Ayoola Oresanya, has accused policemen from the Kabusa Police Station of assaulting her for allegedly violating the curfew in the Federal Capital Territory.

The 35-year-old stated that she was brutalised by four policemen outside her shop in the Seriti community, Abuja, where she also lives.on Tuesday, Oresanya explained that she had stepped out of her shop to urinate and was about locking the door when the policemen accosted her.

The mother of two said, “It was around 11.30pm on Monday when I stepped out to urinate, but as I attempted to lock the door behind me, the cops banged hard on the door and prevented me from locking it. They turned out to be four policemen from the Kabusa Police Station. Oresanya said she raised the alarm that she was being attacked by thieves, adding that the men left her and went away.
