A 40-year-old father has killed his daughter of 11 years at Acilafiya village in Babura local government area of Jigawa State.
A resident told DAILY POST that the incident happened after the father beat his daughter as punishment for an offence she committed.Police Spokesman ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident to DAILY POST. He said, “the incident occurred on Friday at about 09;40hrs, when a 40-year-old man, Hannafi Yakubu beat his 11-year-old daughter Salima Hannafi to death.
“The deceased was taken to Babura General Hospital for examination, where she was confirmed dead by medical doctors.Shiisu said the suspect was apprehended and the case has been transferred to CID for discreet investigation.
