“Coupled with this, the law enforcement officers severally harass our farmers and extort money from them despite reports that classify us as essential workers whose movement should not be restricted.”

The Feed Industry Practitioners Association of Nigeria has called on security agencies in the country to implement the curfew with a human face across the country. The body made this known at the weekend when it donated 60,000 eggs to the Lagos State government as its support to vulnerable families in the state affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

“Coupled with this, the law enforcement officers severally harass our farmers and extort money from them despite reports that classify us as essential workers whose movement should not be restricted. But it is only the doctors and journalists that our security agencies fear. Government should come to our aid to stop law enforcement agents from constantly harassing our people,” he said.

“Eggs are known to be a complete food, which is also a recipe that contains proteins, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which can be use to fight and repair tissues by eating an egg a day.”

This is shameful if true. Why take advantage of a situation that has led to loss of lives, collapsing economy, job losses, etc. This is in deed fulfilling Bible prophecy 2 Timothy 3:1-5

This is the major problem in Nigeria, and this inflicted pain of extortion on farmers by the security personnel will definitely have adverse effect on common Nigerian in their purchases. Nigeria economy is threatened with this , so we call on the govt to rescue d armless farmers

They collect bribe for everybody, they don’t care if you are essentials or not, you have papers or not, you must pay bribe, do you know how many businesses have closed down because of this people? My haulage business closed because I can’t pay bribe to so many of them.
