The former lawmaker said he knows that Bukola Saraki, a former president of the senate, is fit enough to take to his heels.He added that Dino Melaye, a former senator who represented Kogi west, “can jump and climb trees”. “When I watched the Kenyan senators running, I know that Saraki is physically fit to run but I’m not sure of Senators Lawan and Akpabio,” he said.Protests engulfed Kenya for “seven days of rage” following the government’s controversial finance bill that would have hiked taxes across board.
On Tuesday, the protests assumed a violent dimension after police fired live rounds and tear gas at irate youths who in turn Lawmakers who were at the parliament building reportedly escaped through an underground tunnel, while others hid in the building’s basement.
