Nigerians in Kenya have raised the alarm over targeted killings and police brutality.
"The victim who is in hiding for his dear life has contacted the Ministry of Foreign affairs back home. Nothing was done until recently when we heard that steps were being taken on the matter. "I've written to Abuja again yesterday requesting that the toxic marriage between Nigeria and Kenya be put to an end with immediate effect.
The source said officials of the Nigerian High Commission in the East African country may not have experienced the same treatment meted out to other Nigerians in the country, probably because of their diplomatic status. "So, a cab person arranged for another hotel for me. Later that night, I was accosted by policemen, saying they had an Intel that I was a foreigner and that they would search my room.
He narrated,"On the 19th of March, 2022, my house was invaded by four Kenya police officers. My iron door was pulled down using a machine; I was beaten to a coma. My house was not just searched without a search warrant, I was also robbed. The sum of $550 meant for school fees was taken, a brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max with its carton and receipt, and my passports were taken away.
"I travelled to the Nigerian High Commission, only to be told that neither the High Commissioner, Head of Chancery nor Consular was on sit. After several hours, I resolved to go naked inside the High Commission as a form of protest on the 24th of March, 2022. This was the action that forced the Consular, Head of Mission and some other staff members of the High Commission to come out. I was assured that the High Commission was going to swing into action immediately.
“My phones were seized the moment I sought to verify the identities of the men who claimed to be police officers since they did not wear uniforms and were not willing to show their identity cards as police officers. "On the 13th of June, the landlady brought a lawyer who requested that I should be charged to court accordingly instead of being detained unlawfully. When the police officers realised that I was innocent, I was granted a bail of $300, to be paid in cash.
This foolishness of employing a non indegene of a city to be commissioner of police in that city in Nigeria has to stop. Is shameful, no where in the world u can do that. Indigenes are the watch in their respective state. This must stop.
Maybe they have sold him to Nigerian government.
Before I got sick and tired of sham called 1 Nigeria. All because of Japan don`t give evil a single chance to play, so they didn't have the chance to be on their eCommerce buying houses for their criminal politicians. Thats reason you do not see them having houses in Japan🤣🤣
I have said this time without numbered that Zoo Nigeria High Commissioner abroad are not there for the interest of so called Nigerians. What I witnessed in Kuala Lumpur 2010 to end of 2013 is not something to go by. Only in Japan I saw the Zoo Embassy worked as of 2000 to 2009 1/2
Nigerians come home ,u are not wanted abroad
When I said Nigerians are endangered species I did not make any mistake
We don't have a government here at all. So small Kenya is Treating our people anyhow
Who else if not the igbos are being killed.
