Former Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Senator Aisha Alhassan, is dead.
Born on the 16th September, 1959 in Jalingo, Senator Alhassan, fondly called Mama Taraba, represented Taraba North in the red chamber between 2011 and 2015 on the platform of PDP. She returned back to PDP in 2019 after the general election and became one of the pillars of the party in the state and at the national level.
