Oyo State Police command, on Monday, said that it has recovered an AK-47 rifle from a suspected gunrunner who has been terrorising some residents of Oyo and Ogun states.
He added that the suspect was spotted by the police operatives around 1630 hrs at Bakari, a border village between Oyo and Ogun states. One of the items recovered from the suspect according to the Police Spokesman is an AK-47 rifle with breech number 353913. “The suspect spotted the tactical officers while performing their routine intelligence-driven checks from afar before immediately turning his Bajaj Motorcycle to flee.
