A former Nigeria Professional Football League chairman, Oyuki Obaseki, is dead.
The 75-year-old Edo State indigene died after a protracted illness in Benin City, the capital, on Sunday, according to a report by PUNCH. Survived by a wife, children and grandchildren, the respected administrator was the second vice-chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation from 2007 to 2009.
