Akinjayeju said this during an award presentation to two pupils of Bridge Nigeria who won Rainbow College, Lagos scholarships. She maintained that technology gave equity of learning to every learner irrespective of their background. “There is equity of learning for every child, irrespective of their background. Bridge uses an approach that leverages technology to leapfrog education, enabling teachers to succeed and children to excel. The positive impact of Bridge’s work was evident in the exceptional successes recorded by Bridge pupils in external examinations and most recently the national common entrance exam.”
The two pupils of Bridge Nigeria who won scholarships to attend Rainbow College, Lagos, were Christopher Inyanda, who was the Bridge’s best pupil in the last National Common Entrance Examination with a score of 195 over 200 and Iretomiwa Adewusi who scored 175 marks in the national examination.
