Gary Neville

Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has claimed Manchester City could win the Premier League before the last day of the season. Arsenal are still top of the table following a 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime. However, City responded hours later with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Wolves.

The Gunners only hold a one-point lead over the champions, going into the final fixtures of the campaign. But it is City who play next, when they travel to Fulham on Saturday. Arsenal clash with United at Old Trafford. Should Arsenal drop points against the Red Devils, Pep Guardiola's men could potentially wrap the title up before the final day of the campaign.

“So, yeah, I have the fear that the title could be over in a week on Tuesday when in terms of sort of the neutrals, I am neutral when it comes to it, I don’t support City or Arsenal, but I want the title race to go to the final day, obviously. 'My fear is that if City win against Fulham on Saturday, which I think they will, and United take points off Arsenal on Sunday.
