Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville has claimed Liverpool would be favourites to win the Premier League title if they had Declan Rice or Rodri in their team. The Reds have suffered only one defeat from their opening eight league games so far. Jurgen Klopp's men are in fourth place heading into the second international

break of the season, three points behind joint-leaders Arsenal and Tottenham. Neville does not think Liverpool could sustain a push without a more natural defensive midfielder, suggesting Arsenal and Man City stars Rice and Rodri seen as ideal candidates. 'They’ve got a good forward line.

The midfield… it’s attacking, but has it got the defensive stability of what we’ve seen here today , when Rodri comes back in, and when you see Rice and Partey and Jorginho.
