Newcastle legend, Alan Shearer, has given his verdict on Manchester City’s title race with Arsenal this season.
Man City are currently in the second position on the Premier League table with five points behind leaders Arsenal.Speaking on Amazon Prime Video, Shearer believes Man City can close the gap between them and Arsenal on the log. He said, “They are a very good team, and we knew they would not be fazed by the gap that was facing them before the game.
“They have had it before; they will close it down I am sure they will have something to say about that.“They are not under pressure, they know exactly what they need to do and I think they will do it if they perform like that, with De Bruyne and with that guy [Erling Haaland] up front, they have got an incredible chance.”
