The Enugu State Government, Thursday, ordered the immediate closure of an illegal dump site located at the Ugwuaji area in the State.
A team from the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, led by the Commissioner, was said to have paid an unscheduled visit to the site. “The Ugwuaji community through the Vice Chairman of the committee in charge of the site, Mr. Chukwudi Edeh, also confirmed that they allocated the area to the tanker drivers for disposal of sewage on commercial basis.
