The Enugu State government, Tuesday, said it has “detected, contained and returned a confirmed coronavirus patient” who had escaped from an isolation and treatment center in Delta State.
The State’s Commissioner for Health, Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu, in a statement made available to DAILY POST, said that contact tracing and decontamination had commenced immediately. ”We also wish to remind the people of the state on the need to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 restriction orders and other precautionary measures in the state, which remain in force until further notice, as earlier announced, as follows:
