The Enugu state government has amended the charge against six residents of Umurah Ndeabor Aninri community in the Aninri local government area of the state accused of murder. The suspects were accused of killing one Friday Samuel Eze over the community leadership tussle in 2019. The amended charge of four counts is numbered HAW/47c/2019 and borders on murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to commit a felony. The six suspects are Osita Okeke, Hyacinth Umeh, Onyemaechi Nworie, Uchenna Ezejiofor, Ozoemena Ume and Ejiogu Onu.

The suspects were accused of killing one Friday Samuel Eze over the community leadership tussle in 2019. The six suspects are Osita Okeke, Hyacinth Umeh, Onyemaechi Nworie, Uchenna Ezejiofor, Ozoemena Ume and Ejiogu Onu.The amended charge obtained by SaharaReporters obtained on Monday was signed by Godson Chinedum Eze, a Senior Legal Officer in the Ministry of Justice, Enugu State.According to the charge, all the suspects committed the offence on August 2, 2019, at the community and all the offences carried life imprisonment.
