The tribunal Chairman, Justice Haruna Kereng made the call in Enugu on Monday during the inaugural sitting of the tribunal.
Kereng said that the INEC needed to bear in mind that it functioned as an umpire in the elections, culminating into the petitions pending before the tribunal, NAN reports. “As a party before us in these petitions, INEC is expected to be cooperative, fair and focused. It should assist this tribunal to arrive at just and fair decisions,” he said.
