The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested eighteen suspected internet fraudsters in Enugu State.

A statement on Tuesday by the spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, said they were picked from different locations within the state. The suspects included; Chigozie Philips, founder of Holy Family School in Abakpa, where he allegedly trains prospective cybercriminals.They are Joacin Kelvin, Kelechi Ibe, Chinonso James, Udeh Isaiah, Michael Chukwuemeka, Kingsley Okorie, Henry Chidiebere, Elochukwu Chukwuemeka Michael, Nelson Nnaji.

Others include Desmond James, Ozoma Chinonso Anthony, Uchenna Aka, Ozor Celestine, Ifeanyi Ozor Bright, Etuma John, Okafor Chukwuemeka, Raymond Chinaza.“The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded,” he added.
