The National Vice-Chairman, South-south of the Peoples Democratic Party , Chief Dan Orbih, has urged government to seize the ongoing #ENDSARS protests to give birth to a new Nigeria.
“Nigerian youths have finally arisen for justice and we, as parents and leaders, must not fail them. This is indeed a time of reckoning. In the midst of this long-overdue national catharsis, it is even more heartbreaking that some hard-hearted law enforcement officials are still attacking peaceful protesters.
“The government must realize that this is not just a moment for the youth, but one for the country. A country built on the bedrock of justice and equity benefits everyone. Orbih stated that the present situation affords Nigerians a unique opportunity to critically appraise the current system in the country while crafting out deliberate strategies that address the inevitable holistic reform of her system.
Freedom comes with a price. I'll rather die a free man than to remain a slave in my own nation. We're not doing this for ourselves now but for our children future. If our present situation is this worst, what is the hope for our born & unborn children?Freedom is now! EndNigeria
