Over 30 petitions have been received by the Plateau State Judicial Panel of Inquiry investigating police brutality and other related killings in the state.
The Registrar of the Panel, Mr Mark Mallan who confirmed the figure told our correspondent in Jos on Thursday that most of the petitions were received after the inaugural sitting of the panel. Mallan said, “Initially, we had three petitions. But after our inaugural sitting last week, the number increased. So far, we have received over 30 petitions.”
